ICC profiles were born for scanners and printers and have evolved for projectors and monitors, simple instruments conditioned by a certain factor: none of these products is subject to sudden changes in the situations of use. The only company that is currently carrying out a strong research in the field of color profile development is Capture One whose software, however, is limited by its technology that does not allow you to create profiles for digital cameras but only color profiles for acquisition. But a question that often arises spontaneously is: WHO MAKES THEEM? It is common to think that it is the main software companies that make the best color profiles, this is partly true but it is not really the case.
